Revive & Restore was started in 2013 as an incubator project under the umbrella of The Long Now Foundation. The mission of that San Francisco non-profit organization is to foster long-term thinking and responsibility. Their support made this organization possible. In January 2017, Revive & Restore established itself as an independent tax-exempt public 501c3 non-profit organization. Our close connection with Long Now is expected to continue into the far future.
